I understand anthropology-in-images as a space of proximity—a site of encounter between myself, the camera, and the Other, shaped by both physical presence and ethical engagement. Composition, lighting, and wide focal lenses are not merely technical decisions; they emerge from these layered entanglements, leaving traces of intention, meaning, and relation inscribed on the image.
